New regulations of cosmetic products WITHOUT microplastics

SUBJECT: Law 205/2017 – Cosmetic Products with Microplastics.
We hereby inform you that as reported in the Italian Official Journal of 29 December 2017, Law No. 205 of 27/12/2017 will come into force from 1 January 2020. This legislation obliges us to modify the formulas of our cosmetic products containing the categories handwashing pastes and creams.

Here is an excerpt from the law:
Comm. 546 From 1 January 2020 it is forbidden to put on the market cosmetic rinsing products with exfoliating action or detergent containing microplastics.

The new CARCOS GROUP formulations are the result of hard Research & Development work, in fact not only the microplastics have been eliminated in favor of innovative natural mineral abrasives, but from now on the product is also dermatologically tested.
